World Children Resources (formerly World Children Hosting) supports children from Eastern Europe that reside in institutional settings, foster care, boarding schools, and large disadvantaged families.
Bring a host for child for four to eight weeks for a life-changing developmental journey together. Continue that journey by nurturing an ongoing relationship through adulthood and beyond.
Summer and Winter Program: Children will be invited by host family to stay in America for four weeks in winter and six to eight weeks in the summer.
Developmental goals will be developed each host child. Each host family and host child will work on these goals during the host child’s stay in America. A consistent host family provides a stable and nurturing environment for a child to increase their psychological, social, emotional, and physical development.
We will provide coaching, developmental tools, and assistance to each host child and host family throughout their stay in America.
Each host family will complete a virtual home visit, background check, specialized training (provided by WCR), and purchase travel insurance for their host child.
Host family will be responsible for meeting host child and WCR staff at designated airport hub.
Hosting fee:
$2,900.00 for first host child
$2,750.00 for each additional host child
Hosting fees cover airline tickets, passport, visa, medical, transportation fees, document preparation, translation fees, wiring fees, travel insurance from Ukraine and food during travel as well as any other fees incurred to secure child to come for hosting.
